Currently managing over $106 million of investment assets for a select community of private clients, Brian runs the 20 year-old Financial Planning Company, which has been named Central Florida’s top firm by The Orlando Business Journal. When Brian Terry joined the team in 2002 we had to give him a nickname being the 2nd Brian. BT was the first thing that came up and it stuck.

At FMC, BT is primarily responsible for operations, investments and trading, as well as compliance.

BT grew up in the Hudson Valley in New York surrounded by Vassar College, the Culinary Institute of America and West Point. He has always been fascinated by the rich history of the area. One of his cousins completed their family tree and he is able to trace his roots directly back to Richard Warren who landed on the Mayflower.

BT’s undergraduate work was done at Siena College, in New York’s Capital Region, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Management. He completed his graduate work at the University of Central Florida where he earned his MBA.

His professional career has been in the financial services industry. From college, he started his career with a 130 year old regional bank and became the youngest officer the company had ever promoted. He relocated to the Orlando area and spent about a year with one of the credit bureaus before an opportunity arose to pursue a career with a national brokerage firm. BT worked with all types of clients but specialized in hyper active traders and high net worth investors.

BT is married and has 2 children. They live in Altamonte Springs.

Tony Van Ore, CFP® has been in the Financial Services industry since 1998. Tony joined FMC in April 2008. Prior to joining FMC, Tony was employed with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. holding various positions including Senior Relationship Specialist, Service Team Supervisor and Portfolio Consultant. He has a strong background in serving high net worth individuals and institutional investors alike. Tony is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®), Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM (AAMS®) and a graduate of the University of Central Florida. Tony was also a Deputy Sheriff with the Brevard County Sheriff’s office for 5 years, prior to entering the Financial Services industry.

In his spare time, Tony enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, practicing Jiu Jitsu and riding his motorcycle (a Harley) with friends out on the open roads.

Cheryl NavarraCheryl joined FMC in February 2006 on a part-time basis to oversee the Client Service area and has been full time since September 2010. Cheryl has been in banking her entire professional life and comes to FMC with a significant background in customer service within the financial industry. She helps everyone navigate the world of paperwork and policies that we face in dealing with accounts and everyday life. She is an expert at making sure things happen the way they're supposed to. Cheryl has even put measures in place for added convenience and efficiency for our clients. Cheryl is a Registered ParaplannerSM .

When not at FMC, she enjoys spending time at the pool or beach, watching sports and gardening. That is, of course, when she and her husband aren't going everywhere for their two busy teen-age daughters.


Kaysea Heptner

Kaysea HeptnerKaysea joined FMC in May 2011. Prior to that she was employed at an insurance agency located in Ormond Beach, FL where she worked as an administrative assistant for nine years.

Kaysea is a graduate of the Daytona State College/University of Central Florida where she pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Supervision/Management. She has also earned an Associate of Science Degree in Computer Engineering.

In her spare time, Kaysea enjoys spending time with her family and friends, fishing with her boyfriend and soaking up the sunshine.
